Day 01: Arrival In Kathmandu
Upon arrival, our representative will meet you for your transfer
to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Durbar Square / Swayambhunath/ Boudhanath / Patan
(Same as 5DME)
In the evening, you will proceed to Pharping. Dinner and overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 03: Chovar/Pharping
In the early morning, you will proceed to hill trekking. It
takes about half an hour to reach at the top of the hill which is
6,000 feet from the sea level. Panoramic view of the bowl shaped
Kathmandu valley alongwith the range of snowy mountain peaks seen
from this place is very impressive.Top of the hill is covered with
grown-up pine forest. After having breakfast you will visit Monastry
This area is called Kashi of the Monks. It is said that there is no
need to get the soil from this area to be checked by the Guru of
Lama to construct any new monastry. There are hundreds of monastries
around. After having lunch, you will continue your sightseeing of
Chovar. This place is famous for its gorge. All the waters of the
valley drain out through it. In the evening you will come back to
Kathmandu.
Day 04: Kathmandu/Lumbini (Birth Place of Lord Buddha)
After breakfast, you drive about seven hours to Lumbini, the
birth place of Lord Buddha. It is situated in Kapilvastu district of
Lumbini zone, the western Terai of Nepal. Lunch will be served on
the way. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Lumbini Sightseeing
After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing to Kapilvastu,
the ancient kingdom of Sakya Dynasty There are numerous buildings of
religious significance including Maya Devi shrine denoting the exact
place where Buddha was bom.A massive stone pillar erected by Emperor
Ashoka the great when he visited Lumbini in 250 B.C. Lunch will be
served at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 06: Lumbim/Kathmandu
After breakfast you drive towards Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you
will be transferred to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to airport for your
return flight.
