Day 01: Kathmandu
On arrival, you will meet our representative for your transfer
to hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: DurbarSquare/ Swayambhunath/Pashupatinath/ Patan And Culture

Day 03: Kathmandu/Tsedang (3400m by Air)
After breakfast, transfer to Interna¬tional airport for
departure to Lahsa, an hour panoramic flight over the Himalayan
ranges brings you to the heart of Tibet. After arrival at Gonggor
airport, you will transfer to respective hotel in Tsedang. Lunch at
hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 04: Tsedang 3400
After breakfast you will proceed to sightseeing of Yarlong
Tsangpo valley, the cradle of Tibetan civilization. We also visit
Samye Monastery. The castle of Yumbu Lankang is the oldest dwelling
in Tibet, the home of the Yarlong Kings. Lunch will be served at the
Samye Monastery Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Tsedang/Gyantse (3950m: 291km)
After breakfast, 10hrs drive takes you Gyanstse crossing the Karola
(5010m) and Kambala (4794m). The Karola climbs between lofty
mountains, Nozin Khang Sa (7223m) and Ralung (6236m). While driving,
you will findYamdrok Tso (Turquoise Lake) which takes two hours to
cross the lake. Lunch will be served in route. Dinner and overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 06: Gyantse/Shigatse (3950m : 95 km)
After breakfast, you visit to Kumbum Chorten that was built in
1418 AD. In the 15th century, Gyantse was the capital of a small
Kingdom. It later became the main center for trade with
British-India. After sightseeing you drive to Shigatse. Lunch will
be served in route. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Shigatse/Lhasa (3950m : 180km)
After breakfast, you visit the palace of famous Tashi Lumpo
Monastery and seat of Panchen Lama until his death in1989 AD with
its hige. You drive to Lhasa that is about six hours to reach there.
Lunch will be served in route. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 08: Sightseeing at Lhasa
Early morning, visit the Potala Palace whose gold roofs soar
high above the town. The present Potala was built mainly in the
Fifth Dalai Lama's reign around 1645-1693 and remained the center of
political and religious power for the Dalai Lamas. In the afternoon
visit Norbulingka and Jokhang Monasteries: Norbulingka contains the
summer palace of 13th and 14th Dalai Lamas with its spacious walled
garden, and the main throne hall, an audience hall, the Dalai Lamas
private apartment and his mother's apartment.
Jokhang is the spiritual center of Tibet. Legend says that Srongtsen
Gampo, who built the temple threw his ring promising to build a
temple wherever it dropped. Recently it appeared auspicious sign.
Even today a pool exists under the Jokhang's main courtyard.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 09: Sightseeing at Lhasa
In the early morning, visit Drepung Monastery Drepung lies eight
kms west of Lhasa from the main road. It had over 10,000 monks and
governed 700 subsidiary Monasteries. The Monastery was divided into
fourTantric Colleges that was at the highest level specialized in
different branches of knowledge. Each had its own chanting hall
dormitories, kitchens and offices. The entire monastic community
assembled only for special ceremonies and festivals. The chanting
hall is adorned with hanging Thangkas and murals decorate the walls.
Today, about 400 monks and novices live there and their orchards
make them a profit.After having lunch, visit Sera Monastery. Sera
means "Merciful Hail" and lies on the northern edge of Lhasa.
Day 10: Lhasa/Kathmandu (By Air)
After breakfast, early morning you will be transferred to
airport for departure to Kathmandu. On arrival, lunch will be served
at hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Kathmandu/ Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to airport for your
return flight.
